Garrett and Carolyn

When Wendy moves to California, she's completely lost in her own grief. She doesn't know what to do with her life because she's never even considered the thought of being without her mother—or away from New York City. But Garrett and his girlfriend Carolyn both help Wendy in her healing process. They're not overbearing or especially cuddly, but these two adults in Wendy's life are there to listen whenever she needs someone to vent to, and they totally understand that she's going to need time to process and heal.
