Uncle Tom

The story splits into two narratives. One narrative follows Eliza’s successful escape to Canada and reunion with her husband, also an escaped slave. The other narrative follows Uncle Tom’s sale south, his time with Eva, and his death at the hands of the dastardly Simon Legree. Though the story occasionally meanders towards other characters for a chapter or two, the storyline consistently returns to these two central figures and their fates.
