The Weary Blues

Imagine this poem is a twinkling piano and a drummer gently tapping out the beats on a cymbal. The poem starts off kind of quickly until you get to the first "He did a lazy sway…" Otherwise, it's a very laid back poem, so make it smooth with bursts of emotion. Put some oomph into your reading when you come across bits like "moan with melody" and "like a musical fool." The speaker gets excited about it, so you should too. The indented parts are a little slower, so the words can get drawn out. Words like "lazy," "moan," and "Blues" should be stretched out for all they're worth. The "O Blues!" and "Sweet Blues!" bits have exclamation points to make the reader shout them instead.
