Character Analysis
Poor Aunt Julia. She used to be Cullen and Gabriel's vivacious, overly chatty aunt—showing up unannounced and basically talking their ears off until they figured out a way to get rid of her.
After Oslo's death though, Aunt Julia becomes a shell of her former self. She stays at home and mourns all day, because her whole immediate family has died. What else is she supposed to do? Because of this, she becomes the member of the family that Cullen and his parents have to coddle and take care of. She's what happens when someone loses hope.
