How It All Goes Down
- The next day at school, Laurel joins David and his friends for lunch. A girl named Chelsea gives Laurel a hard time about her strict vegan diet, but worse than that, Laurel feels totally claustrophobic inside the cafeteria.
- The next day, David asks if she wants to have lunch with them again, and Laurel explains that if she's stuck inside all day, she needs to be outside for lunch (and besides, the cafeteria is awfully loud).
- David offers to relocate his friends outside so they can all chill with Laurel. This time Laurel feels less shy, and she walks to class with Chelsea and David.
- Finally Laurel feels less lost in high school.
