The body of Kurt Cobain was discovered on this day in 1994. The Nirvana front man's death shocked a generation of rock 'n' roll fans. Cobain's former girlfriend, Bikini Kill drummer Tobi Vail, was the inspiration for many of the tunes on the band's 1991 album Nevermind, including the grunge gamechanger "Smells Like Teen Spirit"—yep, as in Teen Spirit deodorant, which you may be surprised to find out is still around today. Girls with armpits nostalgic for the '90s can cover them in Sweet Strawberry or something called Pink Crush, which we can only assume smells like a combination of cotton candy and ham.
