Physical Danger
Most of the time, you're not really in harm's way. But occasionally, things won't really go the defendant's way, and the defendant, his blood boiling, needs someone to blame. And then his eyes lock on you. And before you know it, it's a punch in the face and lights-out for you. That's relatively rare, but still, there's a reason you've got a gun.
