It's only high turnover because people decide to leave all by themselves. Most people just take this job as a temporary gig until something else comes along (a.k.a., their big break). Like any job, if you don't do it well, you'll lose it. If not, though, very few coffee shops want to train more people. It's a waste of time and money. They'll want to hang on to you as long as they can.
