You're not going to be famous as a caddie. But, if you work for the pros, you'll almost literally be standing on the edge of fame. No, the cameraman isn't focusing the camera on you, but you are being put on TV, and that's better than most people can say.
Even if you're working for the most famous golfer out there, very little of the public is ever going to know who you are. Everybody, and we mean everybody, knows who Tiger Woods is, but only golf nerds know that Joe LaCava is his caddie.
