Really, really nice. (Source)

Life is good at the top of the pecking order. The average salary for a CEO in the poultry industry is a comfy $345,000, which is further padded with a yearly bonus of around $450,000 (source). That's more than enough to buy a really nice car, like a "Coop" deVille.

But even eight hundred grand is mere chicken feed when compared to CEO compensation at a monster chicken producer. The top dog—or rather, chicken—at Tyson Foods scratches up twelve million in annual salary, plus millions more in bonuses and stock options. That's something to crow about, even though chickens don't crow (roosters do, for you city slickers).

Of course, you may reach a point in your career where you decide to take home no salary whatsoever. Lots of top execs do this. Why? It's for the simple love of what they do. That and hefty stock options, bonuses, and the fact that their net worth is already in the billions.
