Glory

There are some downright glorious aspects to being a roofer. Yes, we're serious. Getting to make your own schedule is great. So is the serendipity of an unexpected weather-induced day off. If you thought snow days were cool as a kid, this is a great field to be in.

It's glorious when you love your job and don't dread going to it every morning, which is the case for many roofers. Everything's easier when you love what you do.

Roofing is also glorious because you'll have special skills to help people with maintenance or emergency repairs to the most important place in their worlds: their homes. Most people rank having a functioning roof pretty highly on their list of home essentials, so helping with those emergency repairs should rightly make you feel pretty good.
