Warehousing

Warehousing is to warehouse as Googling is to Google. Warehousing is the act of storing products that will be sold and distributed to customers once bought. With the proliferation of online stores, it can be more profitable for businesses to operate with a warehouse and online store over brick-and-mortar stores, which are limited by shelf space and people in the immediate area, resulting in higher expenses for the business and less options for the customers.

You don’t necessarily have to have a warehouse to be warehousing. If someone's involved in a pyramid scheme, they are probably warehousing in their garage, attic, or basement, for example (pssst, don’t fall for it).
