Unfortunately, the USA has yet to hop on the field hockey bandwagon. Not a lot of people watch field hockey. Not a lot of people even know what field hockey is. We don't see an energy drink endorsement in your future.

The NCAA hosts a field hockey tournament every year to determine the division champs. D-I field hockey players can also go to major sports conferences like the Big East and the Big Ten, but when they get there, they have to compete with sports like football, men's basketball, and baseball for attention.

Some people think grandpa cares a little too much, to be honest.

That's some pretty tough competition. Everyone and their grandpa cares about football. A lot.

The only people who really care about field hockey are field hockey people. If being a legend within your sports community and a nobody outside of it sounds good to you, then you're playing the right sport.
