Case File: Teucer vs. Agamemnon and Menelaus

Case File: Teucer vs. Agamemnon and Menelaus

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Teucer) accuses Defendants (Agamemnon and Menelaus) of disrespecting the dead. After Ajax committed suicide, Menelaus and Agamemnon ordered that his body not be buried because he had plotted to kill them. Ajax's half-brother, Teucer, was determined to bury his brother anyway, even if it meant his own death. After all, without a proper burial, Ajax wouldn't be able to enter the Underworld.

Case Status: Case closed. Odysseus ended up convincing Agamemnon and Menelaus to allow Teucer to bury Ajax. Even though Ajax had plotted to kill Odysseus as well, Odysseus argued that they should honor Ajax for his life of bravery.
