When authors give shout outs to other great works, people, and events, it's usually not accidental. Put on your super-sleuth hat and figure out why.
If you wanted to make a list of things people are no longer doing in the future, we could include
(1) Reading any old literature
(2) Watching TV/movies
(3) Referring to past historical events
(4) Doing anything to refer to the past at all
If you wanted to make a list of Shout-Outs for Divergent, it would be a much shorter list. Basically, there aren't any Shout-Outs except for some geographical and architectural Shout-Outs that we cover in "Setting" because they're part of the setting. That's just how we roll.
