Your Field Guide to Spotting Eos (Aurora)

Your Field Guide to Spotting Eos (Aurora)

You'll have to wake up pretty early if you want to spot Eos, the goddess of the dawn. She gets up before everyone else to scatter the mists of night with her rosy fingers, making way for the sun chariot to rise out of the ocean. If you squint into the colors of the dawn sky you might just be able to see her. She'll be soaring through the air on beautiful white wings, her shining saffron-colored robes shimmering around her. One word of advice: if you happen to be a handsome young man, you might want to duck and hide when you see her swooping toward you. She has a habit of snatching young men and making them her personal playthings. As fun as that might sound, it doesn't always end well. Trust us.
