Prewitt doesn't really have a mentor—and neither does Warden. But we need to name somebody, so why not say that Maggio is Prewitt's mentor?

He might not have great advice to give him, but he leads him to The New Congress Club and provides him with moral support in his challenge. Warden's mentor is much more difficult to gauge—Karen certainly teaches him things, but that doesn't seem to be enough.
