Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton)

Character Analysis

Draco is Harry's nemesis at school. He doesn't play a huge role in this episode in Harry's adventures, since Harry has his hands more than full with the Triwizard Tournament.

That said, Draco manages to get in some jabs—literal and otherwise—with Harry in the course of the film. When Harry and the Weasleys run into Draco and his (Voldemort 'shipping) father at the Quidditch World Cup, for example, Draco just has to brag about his family's connections to the higher-ups in the Ministry of Magic:

DRACO: Father and l are in the minister's box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself.

LUCIUS: Don't boast, Draco. There's no need with these people.

Uh, yeah—as you can tell from that exchange, Papa Lucius is also pretty snotty and snobby.

Later, Draco gets into a fistfight with Harry after taunting him about how badly he/his dad think Harry's going to do in the tournament. So, we suppose Draco still manages to be a pretty decent enemy to Harry, even if he's shoved into the background of this particular chapter.
