Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Scene 7 Summary

  • Nick wakes up covered in bee pollen as Russ looks down at him. They have no idea where they are, but based on the grass' unkemptness, they're most likely still in the Szalinskis' yard.
  • Cut to: Ron and Amy still arguing like crazy.
  • Wayne has procured some stilts and a microscopic headset and starts searching the yard. He accidentally sets off the sprinklers, which creates a veritable hurricane for the kids.
  • The kids run away from the cannonball-sized droplets as Wayne continues his insanity. As it happens, this is the exact moment that the Boorsteins arrive to finish up their deal.
  • The four kids finally end up in the same location, but Amy is hit by a droplet and sent into a pit of mud. Russ slides down there lickety-split and desperately tries to save her.
  • Mr. Szalinski finally turns off the sprinklers as the Boorsteins look on in horror.
  • Russ saves Amy and gives her mouth-to-mouth. We know what you're doing, pal. That's classic Sandlot technique. Luckily for everyone, she wakes up after a few rounds.
