- At the prayer service Zoo plays accordion and sings and stomps, while Jesus Fever sits in a rocking chair and claps a little. Joel is more of a spectator.
- Even though it's boiling hot, Jesus Fever complains of being cold.
- While Zoo is praying she takes a red ribbon off of her throat, revealing a scar all the way around her neck. She prays that God will send Keg Brown back to earth as a haunted hound dog when he dies. Joel (like us!) has no idea who she's talking about.
- Joel gets freaked out by the scar and takes off running until he falls into a briar patch.
- Zoo comes and picks him up and scolds him a little, while Jesus Fever laughs. They bow their heads and pray to close the meeting.
- Just then it starts raining.
