Character Role Analysis

The Fratellis, Mr. Perkins, Troy

But wait—this movie is overloaded with antagonists, too. The most obvious bad guys are the Fratellis, who clearly never heard the "pick on someone your own size" rule. (Two full-grown men and an angry, armed woman are chasing a bunch of defenseless kids and aren't afraid to shoot.)

But even after the Goonies have successfully skirted that danger, there's still Mr. Perkins and his country club to contend with. Not to mention Mr. Perkins' son Troy, who runs Brand off the road and, in relation to Andy, doesn't seem like promising boyfriend material.

Surprisingly, the pirate skeleton dude who set up a bunch of booby traps attempting to kill anyone who came after his treasure is not one of the baddies.
