The Lost Hero Questions

  1. How would the novel be different if it were all told from Jason's perspective? From Leo's? From Piper's? From Gaea's?
  2. Different characters in the book have lots of different superpowers. Which of the powers in the book would you most like to have? Why? Would having that superpower alone allow you to overcome all the challenges in the book?
  3. There are lots of prophecies and dream visions in the book. Do they help the characters know what's going to happen or overcome obstacles? What other functions do prophecies serve, if any?
  4. If you were making a film of this book, what incidents would you leave out? Is it easy or hard to think of parts of the book that could be cut? Is that a strength or a weakness of the novel?
