How It All Goes Down
- Brenda leads Thomas to a series of secret tunnels called the Underneath. It seems like that's the only way to go.
- Before they go, Thomas and Brenda talk some more.
- Brenda gets Thomas to promise her that he'll take her to the safe haven so that she can get the cure.
- Brenda's also totally making moves on Thomas the whole time, but he resists, because he can't stop thinking of Teresa.
- Brenda's excuse is that where she came from, people are just more forward. Righttttt.
- Brenda also surmises that one of the Cranks and his buddies were the ones who triggered the explosion, thinking they could just kill everyone. Those guys are cray-cray.
- Meanwhile, Brenda's trying to hold Thomas's hand, and he's all like, Something is so strange about this girl, and I can't figure it out.
- But then it's time to stop the funny business and get back to work. Brenda and Thomas make their way to the Underground, the tunnel system that connects the buildings in the city.
