    More likely than not, this novel sparked some discussion on racism due to a few comments made by the characters. To help your students better understand this issue, take them to this link. Not only is it a great lesson on diversity, but there's a depiction of Lady Gaga as a plastic cup. She doesn't show much emotion, but that could just be her po-po-po-poker face. (Oh yes we did.)
