Spaceship of Misfit Bots
The repair ward is the Island of Misfit Toys… in space! The vacuum bot has allergies, the beautician bot gives everything—even things without a face—a makeover; an umbrella bot can't stay shut; and those are just a handful of all the robots being repaired.
WALL-E accidentally frees them, and the rejects become part of WALL-E and EVE's band of "Rogue Robots" that AUTO tries to stop from retrieving the plant. Unlike many "rejects save the day" storylines you're familiar with, these robots just seem to naturally cause chaos (and comic relief), and WALL-E and EVE use it to their advantage
