Character Role Analysis

Harris Sinclair

When you have a character that pits the other characters against each other and delights in their fighting, it's safe to say he's the antagonist. And Harris antagonizes everybody. He tells one daughter he's going to give her a house (or whatever other expensive thing he owns), then turns around and tells another he'll give it to her instead.

The Liars become pawns in Harris's game, with their mothers getting them to begging for the things each mother wants. Harris is the king, power-tripping the whole kingdom. He might have funded everybody's lives, but he constantly threatens to take the funds away, leaving his family members in a constant state of insecurity. Thanks for nothing, Grandpa.
