Chances are you're never going to talk about this guy in class, but we want to be thorough here. This is the man who tells Ged to go to the Court of the Terrenon to find a weapon to deal with the shadow – but he turns out to be a lying servant of Serret and the Stone (7.53). However, you might be interested in how he's an ex-sorcerer. Perhaps he's an example of how Ged could've turned out if the stone took over him, too.
