ACT Test Prep

Let's get down to business to defeat the... ACT®. Get your students ready to do battle with one of the most notorious standardized tests with Shmoop ACT Test Prep.

Here's what you'll be working with.

1. Diagnostic Exams

Each student has unique strengths and...not-so-strong strengths. Our diagnostic exam presents students with a short version of each ACT section, providing a breakdown of skills and a prediction of their scores. Use the results to review frequently missed concepts with your class or individual students.

2. In-Depth Reviews

The ACT covers a lot of ground, from semicolons to data representation. Luckily, we've got fun and thorough reviews for every skill your students need to know on test day. (Except the skill of showing up on time with a No. 2 pencil. We can't do everything.) Have students review on their own or use our materials to help you prepare for in-person review sessions.

3. Loads of Drills

Looking for a way to hammer concepts into your students' brains? We don't have a hammer—but we do have drills. Tons of 'em, in fact. Hundreds of drill questions covering every skill on the ACT will give your students the mental workout they need to do their best on the big day. You can even assign them with our virtual assignments feature.

4. Practice Tests

Practice makes perfect, so five glorious, full-length practice exams will set your students well down the path to success on the ACT. Each test comes with answer explanations so your students can learn from their mistakes and review as they go.

With some Shmoopy help, you and your students will be well on your way to conquering the ACT.
