The final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was released on this day in 2007. It sold an astonishing 15 millions copies in its first twenty-four hours. Anticipating Pottermania's sweep across the globe, Bloomsbury Publishing spent £10 million to keep the manuscript from being leaked. Still, photographs, and then transcripts, of all 759 pages of the book reared their spoilery little heads just before Deathly Hallows' official release. We don't know for sure who did it, but we think such treachery just screams "Death Eaters," don't you?
