salary in 2009 to the average salary in Figure 1.
So let's look at Figure 1.
Let's look for the average salary in 2009.
And hmmm...it's not there. Is that a typo?
Well..unfortunately not. Because we're only given the salary in 2005 and 2010....
we have to make some deductions about the data we ARE given.
The average salary in 2005 is around $2.7 million bucks and the average salary in 2010 is around $3.7 million bucks.
And the Giant's average salary is $3.043 million bucks give or take..
and the thing we SHOULD notice... is that the average
salary is in between the 2005 and 2010 salaries.
This suggests that the Giants' salary is at least SIMILAR
to the salary received by the rest of MLB players.
