Some architects have achieved a great deal of fame - architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei (Louvre) and Frank Gehry.
At least 2/3 of the time, you will have a leg up if your name is Frank. Most architects, however, plug along in relative obscurity. At least your kids will know who you are.
