As long as there are numbers to count (and you're decent at doing the counting), your job is probably safe. You may move from company to company, as the life cycles of businesses ebb and flow, but you're still very likely to continuously find work. The better you are, especially at keeping businesses from facing a stressful audit, the more likely you are to almost always be in high demand. Just make sure you foster a meticulous—even downright perfectionist—work ethic and you'll be golden.
