About Me

Intro

You've seen the other schools. Maybe you've even hung out with them in person, but something about them just seemed…off. They're a bit too "professional," and "respectable," and you had no idea how you could involve yourself in their lifestyle.

You know the ones—gargantuan buildings with names like "Applied Sciences Division" and libraries filled with dusty, old tomes that seemingly have no purpose other than to bore almost every human being on Earth (and a few otters).

Now, look at me. Look at my small, beautiful campus. Look at my sole "academic-looking" building (the library) and marvel at the fact that it (gasp) has a children's section in addition to all that useful research-y stuff.

Gaze in awe at how it does not require you to arrange a full expedition just to get you your next class. Gawp, in pure, unfettered astonishment, at the professors who actually teach classes, rather than leave it to their TAs while they finish research papers.

If you're looking to learn in a quieter, more personal environment, look no further. That's me, baby. I'm your dolphin.

Name

Tsunami the Dolphin

Hometown

Camarillo, California, halfway between Santa Barbara and LA—close enough to the beach where you could show up to class in swim trunks and only get a few dozen odd looks, but far enough away that you aren't smelling salt all the time.

Birthdate

2002

Body Type

I'm small and feminine at a little under 5,000 undergraduates, 64% of which are female. It's a safe walk from class to class without having to bob and weave through huge mobs. Many students even hold the door open for you. I'm just that kind of fella—polite and respectful.

My actual campus is similarly petite. Classes are maybe fifteen minutes away from each other at most, just using your own two legs.

Current Living Situation

To put it simply, I'm a commuter school but gee, look at how nice the dorms are .

If you do want to stay somewhere off campus, there's a bus that leaves every half-hour to take you to another bus, which leaves at times that seem to be picked out at random, but it invariably gets you to your destination…eventually.

Or you could pony up $180 for a parking pass and free yourself from such pitiful mortal squabbles.

Relationship Status

Enemy schools? What're those?

I'm about as sporty as a sloth in winter when there's a Simpsons marathon going on. Even my clubs are relatively informal, so I don't really have any long-standing friendships or rivalries. I'm not even two decades old. While all those Ivy Leagues have bitter wars lasting centuries, I'm not yet old enough to drink.

You should apply to me if...

you're looking for a nice, quiet, beautiful campus that allows you to study at your own pace.
