Bestseller

Definition:

A bestseller, also sometimes referred to as popular fiction, is a chart-topping, money-making book. Writers like Stephen King and Janet Evanovich are on the bestseller list a lot these days. Because of their massive popularity, book snobs often debate the merit of bestsellers, but Shmoop says a book is a book.

Maybe that's why we have our very own section of bestsellers. Check it out. Or have a look at our learning guide for The Hunger Games to help you convince your teacher that bestsellers are well worth a literary discussion.
