Finch
- Finch watches Violet from the window. Then he takes a shower. He tries to read, but he can't concentrate.
- He thinks about calling the guidance counselor at school, but he doesn't. He doesn't tell his mom because he knows she won't understand.
- He remembers a time when a cardinal fell into the living room window and died. It's not a happy thought.
- Finch goes for a run, then he comes home and paints his bedroom ceiling. Finch is officially not doing so hot.
