Case Description: Complainant (Cassandra) accuses Defendant (Apollo) of cursing her. Apollo was entranced by Cassandra's beauty, so he gave her the gift of prophecy by sending snakes to clean out her ears with their tongues. When he tried to make her his lover, though, she denied him. As punishment, Apollo cursed her. From that day forward, she would be able to see into the future, but no one would ever believe any of her predictions.
Case Status: Case pending. Apollo claimed that Cassandra swore she would be his in return for the gift of prophecy, and then went back on her word. Different sources support each party's side of the story, so the case is still under investigation.
