Laxmi is an accidental guide. She has no clue what's going in Miranda's life, but her ranting about her cousin's cheating husband and her womanly support for her emotionally-wrought cousin helps Miranda realize her relationship with Dev will go nowhere.

The community in TBH

Talk about going above and beyond: the community in TBH nurtures Bibi when she's pregnant; they teach her how to raise a child; they boycott Haldar's shop and then, in turn, support Bibi when she takes over the shop. Where would Bibi be without her community? Like Boori Ma, probably—out in the street.
