Character Role Analysis

Nector Kashpaw (Honorable Mention: Sister Leopolda)

Since we tapped Marie for protagonist, we have to put Nector in the villain slot, since he gave her a whole bunch of trouble—you know, like when he had an affair with Lulu for a few years during their marriage, threatened to leave (but then didn't), and then, even when he had lost his memories, still chased Lulu around their retirement community. Marie loved him deeply, but he definitely gave her a lot of heartache as well. Heck, his own mother, Rushes Bear, was so disgusted with him at one point that she told him Marie was her daughter now, and he was disowned.

We have to give an honorable mention to Sister Leopolda, too; even though she isn't a huge character, she was so crazy and evil to Marie when she was a child that she, too, could arguably be tapped as the villain of the piece.
