The Somali Women
- Farah gets married and brings not only his wife but also her mother, younger sister, and cousin back to the farm. Later they adopt another Somali girl too, adding to the group of women in his house.
- One day the narrator takes the Muslim women to the French Mission, and they love the statue of the Virgin. Later they ask whether the fathers are able to make the Virgin or Saints come down from where they stand.
- The young cousin gets married and the Baroness is invited to the wedding.
- Farah has a son on the farm, who turns out to be a cool little kid.
