Case File: Zeus vs. Bellerophon and Pegasus

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Zeus) accuses Defendants (Bellerophon and Pegasus) of trespassing. Despite Zeus's warnings, Bellerophon attempted to ride Pegasus all the way up to Mt. Olympus.

Case Status: Case closed. Zeus sent a gadfly to sting Pegasus, causing the horse to accidentally buck his master off of his back. Bellerophon then tumbled to his death. The king of the gods pardoned Pegasus, however, and made the winged horse the bearer of his thunderbolts.
