Character Analysis
Queen Elizabeth is the wife of King Edward IV and the mother of the two young princes and young Elizabeth. Before her marriage to King Edward, she was hitched to a guy named Sir John Gray, which is why Richard likes to insult her by referring to her as "Lady Gray" instead of Queen Elizabeth. (Basically, Richard is downgrading her by refusing to address her as "Queen.")
