- Leandra freaks out, and accuses them of having sex and cheating; though Torey denies it, he also doesn't explain what Ali is doing there, so Leandra fully believes he's cheating.
- The situation makes Ali feel awful, and she runs away from the house saying she can't stay there. Torey catches her and tries to calm her down from crying.
- Feeling a little better, Ali asks him if he thinks she's a slut and he says no, that she must be confused.
- She tells him that she doesn't do it all the time because she has an insatiable sex drive—instead it's because she's angry with her dad and wants to get back at him. Not that he even knows about her behavior or anything like that. Sigh.
- This news is totally confusing to Torey, and he doesn't get it, but he decides to respond by sharing his own weirdness, so he confesses that he spends loads of time just thinking about things that nobody else cares about. Like, say, being drawn and quartered.
- Embarrassed about confessing his big secret, Torey is scared to look at Ali, but she reassures him that everyone has a secret. She tells him about a bunch of people she knows with giant secrets, which she knows because their dads slept with her mom and told her.
- Inside, Mrs. Adams is writing a letter and tells Torey that Ali's mom went to a rehab center in Florida, so she and Greg will stay with them for a couple of weeks.
- Ali's mom, Mrs. McDermott, is an addict, which is why she's acted so strangely.
- At this moment, Torey trust his mom and wants to tell her he made the phone call, but Ali is standing by him so all he asks for is money to go to Wawa with her instead.
