- We cut to a typewriter: Don's typing the title for The Bottle. So far, so good. Within seconds, however, it becomes clear that Don is lost.
- Suddenly, he gets up and starts tearing the apartment apart, looking for his hidden bottle. He pulls furniture from the walls and throws books off the shelves.
- Frustrated, Don collapses onto a chair and looks at his empty bottle. That's when he notices a matchbook for a bar by the name of "Harry and Joe's."
- Time to fade away to another scene.
