Michael Jackson was born on this day in 1958. The King of Pop is synonymous with the moonwalk, but he's not actually the guy that created it. In fact, it was two guys: Soul Train dancers Casper Candidate and Cooley Jackson (no relation). Don't worry: MJ didn't steal it; he paid Candidate and the other Jackson to teach it to him. Then he forever changed the pop performance landscape by displaying his literally smooth moves during a performance of "Billie Jean" on Motown's 25th anniversary TV special.
