People are always going to be hungry, right? And there'll always be hipsters seeking out the hot new flavor...right? Yeah, as long as you can figure out what people want, flavor-wise—or at least a select group of people. Safe to say: Your potential to make it in this field isn't going anywhere.

Sure, it's possible that we'll someday switch over to an all-vitamin diet, putting all niche food entrepreneurs out of business. But that's a moot point, because by that time the robots will have taken over altogether anyway.

For now though, have no fear. Niche food markets are growing steadily, and the robot overlords haven't made a move yet.
