Quick exercise: does the excerpt below sound like your typical watercooler conversation?

Geothermal engineers aren't the Jonas Brothers. There probably aren't any magazine covers in your future or any squealing fans clamoring for your autograph. If you get really, really lucky, your work might get mentioned as a bullet-point in a newsletter for geothermal geeks. Try not to let that level of notoriety go to your head.
