Glory

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion takes the top prize these days. Commonly referred to as simply “The Cup” goes to the winner of the best of 36 races in 10 months. The cup is the granddaddy of prizes for a NASCAR driver.

After the cup, the Nationwide Series, sponsored by the insurance company ironically enough is the second biggest NASCAR series.

There are four other big national series and top individual races that draw top crowds and hold glory for the winner, like the Daytona 500 in Florida.

Overall, if you win, you get glory. If you lose, hopefully you get to keep your head.
