If knowledge is power, then you'll have a lot of it. You're one of an elite group of people who really understand the brain. The rest of us still think there's a divide between the "left" and "right" brained people. (It's a myth.)

You might think someone who knows how to remove a chunk of someone's brain has more power in the world than they do. In reality, neurologists and neurosurgeons are subject to insurance companies, hospital committees, hospital administrators, rigid hospital budgets, lack of resources, and government bureaucrats. No doctor ever acts simply according to his or her own judgment. Brain power just isn't enough.
