That meltdown happening on the fourth floor because their Wi isn't Fi-ing? Just a quick check, reset, and boom—your tech-guru-rock-star status is reaffirmed. All it takes is a little know-how.
Okay, so some of what you do isn't that tough to understand. But, as long as they're happy, why spoil it? You're happy to go up and reset the router, right? It kind of makes up for those times when you get called in overnight because a break room sink overflowed into a network hardware set-up below. You'll be lavished with praise for fixing that, too, but you might be too tired to care.
