It's a grocery store. Sure, it has beautiful track lighting, spacious aisles, and perfect pyramids of cabbages and lettuce heads fit for a vegetable-loving celebrity. But at the end of the day it's still a grocery store. You're not running for President of the United States here.

Aspiring team leaders can apply in person or online. There's no degree required for the Whole Foods position or for any grocery store manager, but if you're invited for an interview, you'll need to answer some questions.

Such questions might include: What does "integrity" mean to you? If you were a kite, how would you describe yourself? Which of the Whole Foods core values do you identify with? If you were asked to improve sales margins by five percent, how would you go about that task? (source). For at least some of those, having a business degree might help you to answer.
